i walk the shore of the windswept beach
waves pushing inwards with the tide.
sickeningly the rubbish floats up and beaches itself alongside a raven, lying swollen bellied from deaths grip: glassy eyes free from movement, fat body edged further and further up the beach by the cold waves.
a glistening jelly fish, having floated with otherworldly grace onto the sandpaper shore, reflects the silver of the sky in its transparent flesh. The moon, taking her place as the day ends, mourns her lost worshiper, and remembers him in her effortless swim through the night.
a dog, stupid and dull barks endlessly at nothing, flicking the water with his feet as he charges maniacally forwards.
an elderly man, stick in hand and cap on head, smiles wisely as he passes by. His smiles seems to say, I see you in your youth, frowning over this discordant space: be at peace.
